I have a 2021 Mazda CX3 and around March April 2024 I started noticing an issue with the steering in that when coming out of a sweeping left hand bend as you started to steer back to the right it would stick momentarily like something was binding and then release. I took it to the local dealer and upon inspection they said that there was an issue with the grease. (warranty job) They repacked it and all was fine for about 12 months. I again took it to the dealer and after inspection they said there was a warranty issue and the shaft would need to be replaced. After waiting for the warranty to be approved and the parts ordered the job was finally done in May 2025. So here we are now in June and I am starting to notice little clunking feeling now. At this stage it is only minor but I am reluctant to take it to the dealer as they want to charge $170 to look at it and if it is not warranty then that $170 is blown. Just wondering if anyone else has had any similar issues.
